You're tired. Not just physically — properly tired.
The kind of tired where a weekend away sounds good in theory, but you can't quite face a busy resort, a holiday park full of kids, or somewhere that turns out to be noisier than home.
You want a proper bed. A hot shower. Good coffee. And somewhere to sit outside at night and hear nothing at all.
That combination is harder to find than it should be. Braeview was built for exactly this.
Six pods. All the comfort. None of the chaos.
Every pod at Braeview comes with hotel-quality beds (all bedding and towels included), an en-suite shower with luxury toiletries, a Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private firepit. Milk is in the fridge and marshmallows are waiting to be toasted. Farm eggs and logs are available to buy on site if you'd like them.
Two pods — Holly and Juniper — have their own private electric hot tubs. Always ready to use, no waiting, perfect for sitting under Scotland's dark skies.
The whole site is adults-only and pet-free, year-round. Not just in the school holidays. Always.
When you book, you can also add afternoon tea, a jam jar bouquet, or a round of golf at Eyemouth Golf Club. And if you'd like a massage while you're here, Morag offers therapeutic treatments in The Bothy on site — open to guests and non-guests.

A few things that make a difference.
Adults only, always.
Not just during school term. The whole site, all year round.
Pet free.
No barking, no mud, no unexpected early mornings.
We're here every day.
Morag and Jonny are on the farm if you need anything. They're also very good at not being in your way if you don't.
Milk in the fridge when you arrive.
It's a small thing. Guests notice it.
The skies here are remarkable.
Very little light pollution. The kind of night sky most people haven't seen in years.
We built this because we needed it.
Braeview wasn't designed from a spreadsheet. It came from understanding exactly what it feels like to need proper rest.
As seen on Channel 4's Four in a Bed.
Make of that what you will — we think it went rather well.
Arriving at Braeview is straightforward.
Choose your pod
Browse the pods and pick the one that suits. Hot tub? Go for Holly or Juniper. Want the most private standard pod? That's Elder. Two couples travelling together? Willow and Juniper sit well together. You can also add extras during booking — golf, afternoon tea, or a jam jar bouquet.
Check dates and book online
The whole process takes a couple of minutes on Freetobook. Pick your dates, choose your pod, add any extras, and you're done. You'll get a confirmation with everything you need to know before you arrive — including a private link to book The Beach Box at Coldingham Bay at a discounted rate, if you'd like it.
Arrive and do nothing
The milk is in the fridge. The marshmallows are there. The bed is made. Check-in is from 4pm — though if you want to try for earlier, just ask and we'll do our best. Close the door and get on with resting.

Morag & Jonny look forward to welcoming you soon.
THE STORY BEHIND BRAEVIEW
Morag and Jonny built this place because they needed it themselves.
Braeview sits on the farm where Morag grew up — she came back to the Scottish Borders after years in agriculture and offshore oil and gas, and later trained as a massage therapist. Jonny came from the north-west of England and threw himself into the outdoor life completely (he also keeps the WiFi properly reliable).
The pods were designed from scratch, built to their own specification, and opened in May 2021. Every detail came from understanding, at first hand, what genuinely exhausted people actually need.

WHERE WE ARE
Where we are — and what's nearby.
Braeview is near Coldingham in Berwickshire — one of the quieter corners of the Scottish Borders, close to the Berwickshire Coastal Path and Coldingham Bay. About an hour from Edinburgh, and around ninety minutes from Newcastle.
Some guests use Braeview as a base for exploring. Just as many don't go very far at all.
Other things nearby: Eyemouth Golf Club, local seafood, coastal walks, wild swimming at Coldingham Bay. Braeview guests also receive a private link to book The Beach Box on the bay — a proper beach hut available at a discounted rate.
